Dear American Airlines

Why do you have to be the only airline to put fares to Miami on sale?  Especially when it's only on the somewhat inconvenient nonstop flight that I wish was earlier on the way home?  I don't want to fly your airline this trip because the AA terminal in the MIA airport is so gosh darn miserable to go through.

I'm just like that woman in the Orbitz commercial who keeps looking at flights and not going to the step of booking one, lol!

We wish you a merry...

Yesterday was the second part of our Thanksgiving festivities.  Per has been "in a mood" lately, which is the nicest way I can describe some pretty heinous behavior.  He's been acting purely bratty, in that even when he's getting what he wants, he still carries on with all sorts of unpleasantness.

Today I had to get new tires put on my car and have a regular service (i.e. oil change, etc.) done on it.  I asked Dean to speak to the mechanic, b/c, having grown up working at a service station, he at least understands what is essential and what is a mark up.  I told Dean what I was okay with paying.

So, last night was our exciting night

So, last night was our exciting night out.  I had a couple of gift certificates burning a hole in my pocket, so we went first to City Steam for dinner, and then to Vaughan's for dessert.  Needless to say, I made sure not to fill up at dinner, so that I had plenty of room for this pretty.  (Remember, I can't have the ice cream and Irish cream that normally comes with it!)

Gah!

I just went to buy tickets for the Warren Miller film tomorrow.  I wanted to go to the 6pm show, and all that was left were straggling seats way off to the sides.  The 9pm show isn't much better in terms of availability, but I was at least able to get two seats in the "C" section of the balcony, fairly close to the front.   I think the fact that they are offering 4 free lift tickets as part of the deal, and that they did some television advertising in our area is what made it so crowded!
