Heard on the news last night that the town right next to ours has a potential swine flu case.  I worked at a news station, so I don't fall into the whole OMG we're all going to die and the Zombie Uprising is going to start!" sort of mania.  But I'm not sure what the eff we'll do if they decide to close Per's school today.   The schools seem to be doing these shutdowns with little or no warning.  And I will be 45 minutes away in the middle of a very important meeting.  (VIM?)

And, regarding the flu itself, I'd rather NOT go through having it, because let's face it.  The flu sucks.  But I don't feel like this is particularly MORE deadly then the regular old flu that normally comes around.  Besides, we're only a few short weeks away from the "SHARK ATTACK!!!" season.
