So far no one's stepped up to the plate
So far no one's stepped up to the plate to treat me (and two other random friends) to a BNL show/meet and greet out on Shelter Island. Sure, I know $1000 is not small change, but that works out to $250 per ticket, which if the New Yorker is to be believed, is what a casual friend would spend on me if I were being Bat Mitzvahed or if I were getting married. Aren't I worth it?
In other random observations, if you are a fan of The Office, you will love the first second cake at Cake Wrecks. And if you aren't, there are plenty of other funny cakes to look at. I love the fact that all of them are from real bakeries--not just people making the cakes on their own.
BTW, it's Mom DaWezl's birthday today. What she really wants is for her youngest daughter to be treated to a BNL show out on Shelter Island. At least I *think* that's what she asked for. Either that or she wanted a copy of Nude Cigar Smoking so that she could practice her new hobby. I'm not really sure--there was a lot of static on the other end of the line.
