Gah!
I just went to buy tickets for the Warren Miller film tomorrow. I wanted to go to the 6pm show, and all that was left were straggling seats way off to the sides. The 9pm show isn't much better in terms of availability, but I was at least able to get two seats in the "C" section of the balcony, fairly close to the front. I think the fact that they are offering 4 free lift tickets as part of the deal, and that they did some television advertising in our area is what made it so crowded!
Dean and I are going to head down around 6pm, and we'll probably have dinner at Vaughn's (oh yes, my sweet Guinness Infused Brownie! I plan on rendezvous'ing with you right in front of my husband! Such decadence!) and then we'll head over to the Bushnell afterwards. I'm not exactly keen on a 9pm start time, but it's still earlier than the 10pm start time of the original concert, lol! And besides, if I get too tired, I don't *have* to stay for the whole film, lol. Just the second segment!
Anyway, if you are thinking of going, I'd get my tickets now, rather than just pulling up to the box office tomorrow! Oh, and a tip. If you pull up two seats, open a new browser to look for more. Because if you let those go, you might not be able to get them back for a LONG TIME. It says 7 minutes, but I waited 15, and nothing freed up for me.
