When your friend suggests doing a linoleum block print for your wedding invite, perhaps you may want to reconsider.
Both of these images were carved by hand into linoleum. Then for every invite or thank you I needed, I had to hand burnish the print, then paint with watercolors. (There were colors on the thanks yous as well). For each invite, I spent about 60 minutes total, not counting the carving time. For each thank you, about 15-20 minutes.

The artist of the month is my little guy, who's now 4 years old. He drew this Hydra as part of a Jason and the Argonauts film that he wants to make. We are using the computer to add the other heads.
